Breakable Walls are Props featured in Dead by Daylight IconHelp DBDlogo.png that were added with Patch 3.6.0.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Breakable Walls are similar to Pallets IconHelp pullDown.png in that they are randomly generated across the Map and can be broken by the Killer IconHelpLoading killer.png.

Unlike Pallets, however, Survivors cannot interact with them in any way.

Breakable Walls[edit | edit source]

Breakable Walls appear in the Dead Dawg Saloon and Midwich Elementary School and will be added to other Maps subsequently. Their design will vary from Realm to Realm, but generally feature a similar colour-scheme to Pallets in order to be clearly distinguishable from regular, non-breakable wall segments.

Interaction[edit | edit source]

It was announced that Breakable Walls vary in appearance from Realm to Realm, fitting to the Realm's theme. However, at the moment, only the Grave of Glenvale iteration of Breakable Walls was revealed.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Breakable Walls take 2.6 seconds to destroy and are affected by Perks boosting this interaction speed.
  • Prior to Patch 3.7.0, all killers used an altered Pallet breaking animation.
  • The last time a universal feature was added to Dead by Daylight was with Patch 1.4.0, when the Damage Generator interaction was added.
