Once the Exit Gates IconHelp exitGates.png are powered, if there is a Dull Totem remaining on the Map, this Hex is applied to it.

While this Hex is active, Survivors suffer from the Exposed IconStatusEffects exposed.png Status Effect and your movement speed is increased by 2/3/4 %.

The Hex effects persist as long as the related Hex Totem IconHelpLoading totem.png is standing.

"And the beast became faster and more powerful as if the Entity's shadowy whips were lashing at its back."

Trivia

  • The flavour text is a reference to a quote in Lord of the Rings: "They run as if the very whips of their masters were behind them." — Legolas, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, 2002.
  • The Quality of Life change in Patch 1.0.2 was actually a bug becoming a feature, as the Perk was not supposed to work prior to at least one Exit Gate having been opened, but already did as soon as the last Generator was powered.
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death is often abbreviated as NOED and pronounced either like "Node" or "No-Ed".
  • The Exposed IconStatusEffects exposed.png Status Effect only applies to the Killer's Weapon.
  • Hex: No One Escapes Death can be fully disabled prior to its activation and deny the Killer any potential advantage from using it.
    • Thus, should the Survivors have cleansed all five Dull Totems IconHelpLoading totem.png before the Exit Gates became powered, Hex: No One Escapes Death will remain inactive as it can no longer bind itself to a Totem.
