This article is an overview of all Med-Kits featured in Dead by Daylight. For other uses, see Med-Kit (disambiguation).

Med-Kits are a type of Item Item}} Survivors Survivors}} can use in Dead by Daylight Dead by Daylight}}.

Overview[edit | edit source]

Med-Kits are used to unlock the self-heal action at the regular Healing speed or to heal other Survivors at vastly greater Healing speeds.

The sole exception is the Emergency Med-Kit Emergency Med-Kit}}, which will also increase the Self-Healing speed.

Original Med-Kit[edit | edit source]

The original and only Med-Kit up to Patch 1.1.2:

First Aid Kit}}
First Aid Kit A standard First Aid Kit with all the necessary equipment for treating common to more serious injuries.
  • 24 Charges.
  • Considerably increases Altruistic Healing speed.
  • Unlocks the Self-Healing action.

Patch 1.1.2 introduced 3 new Med-Kits to the Game:

Camping Aid Kit}}
Camping Aid Kit A rudimentary Aid Kit which can save lives in emergencies, even if it's lacking some of its supplies.
  • 16 Charges.
  • Moderately increases Altruistic Healing speed.
  • Unlocks the Self-Healing action.

"Barely has enough material for a decent patch-up."

Emergency Med-Kit}}
Emergency Med-Kit A sturdy and well organised Med-Kit equipped with top condition emergency supplies.
  • 16 Charges.
  • Tremendously increases Altruistic Healing speed.
  • Unlocks the Self-Healing action.
  • Tremendously increases Self-Healing speed.

"There is a cure for almost everything...but not for this."

Ranger Med-Kit}}
Ranger Med-Kit A large metal box containing medical supplies aimed at emergency rescues in hard to reach, often isolated locations.
  • 32 Charges.
  • Tremendously increases Altruistic Healing speed.
  • Moderately increases Skill Check success zones.
  • Moderately increases Skill Check bonus zones.
  • Unlocks the Self-Healing action.

Halloween Med-Kit[edit | edit source]

Patch 1.7.3 introduced the All Hallows' Eve Lunchbox, a special Halloween-themed Med-Kit that is annually made available during Halloween Events:

  • 24 Charges.
  • Considerably increases Altruistic Healing speed.

Anniversary Med-Kit[edit | edit source]

Patch 4.0.0 introduced the Fourth Year Med-Kit, a special Med-Kit to celebrate the Game's Fourth Year Anniversary.
It uniquely emits confetti whenever a Healing action is completed.

Butterfly Tape Medical quality tape used to close small wounds.
  • Slightly increases Healing speed.
Bandages A pack of bandages usually found in First Aid Kits.
  • Adds 8 Charges to the Med-Kit.
Sponge A mundane sponge used to soak up extra blood, providing easier access to wounds.
  • Considerably increases Great Healing Skill Check Progression bonus.
Self Adherent Wrap}}
Self Adherent Wrap A pack of bandages that stick to themselves without the need of clips for a faster patch-up that requires less readjustments.
  • Slightly increases Healing speed.
  • Adds 8 Charges to the Med-Kit.
Needle & Thread}}
Needle & Thread Not exactly a medical device, however it can be used to quickly and painfully close up a wound.
  • Moderately increases Healing Skill Check Trigger odds.
  • Moderately increases Healing speed.
  • Grants 100 % Bonus Bloodpoints for Great Skill Check Score Events when Healing.
Medical Scissors}}
Medical Scissors Scissors designed to easily cut through textiles.
  • Moderately increases Healing speed.
Gauze Roll}}
Gauze Roll A sterile gauze used for a variety of wounds. Part of a total wound care system.
  • Adds 12 Charges to the Med-Kit.
Surgical Suture}}
Surgical Suture A medical device used to close and hold body tissue. Even though it's very effective, the surgical suture is challenging to use.
  • Considerably increases Healing Skill Check Trigger Odds.
  • Moderately increases Healing speed.
  • Grants 150 % Bonus Bloodpoints Great Skill Check Score Events when Healing.
Gel Dressings}}
Gel Dressings A pack of gel forming pads used to patch up heavily exuding wounds.
  • Adds 16 Charges to the Med-Kit.
Abdominal Dressing}}
Abdominal Dressing A highly absorbent pad that prevents bodily fluid leakage when applied to large abdominal wounds.
  • Considerably increases Med-Kit Healing speed.
  • Reduces Med-Kit Charges by 8.
Styptic Agent}}
Styptic Agent A white powder with coagulant properties. Apply the agent to a wound to stop it from haemorrhaging.
  • Use with Secondary Action.
  • When the Styptic Agent is used on an injured Survivor, they gain the Endurance Endurance}} Status Effect for 8 seconds.
    Any damage taken during that time that would put the Survivor into the Dying State will instead apply the Deep Wound Deep Wound}} Status Effect.
    The Survivors has then 20 seconds to Mend themselves.
  • If the Survivor takes any damage while affected by Deep Wound or if the Deep Wound timer ends, they will immediately be put into the Dying State Dying State}}.

Styptic Agent depletes the Med-Kit on use.

Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe}}
Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe An anti-haemorrhagic substance that stops the bleeding in a matter of seconds.
  • Use with Secondary Action.
  • The affected Survivor will passively gain one Health State 16 seconds after use.
  • The time required can be modified by Perks and Add-ons that affect Healing speeds.
  • This effect is cancelled when the affected Survivor changes their Health State Health State}} or is picked up by the Killer.

Anti-Haemorrhagic Syringe depletes the Med-Kit on use.

Refined Serum}}
Refined Serum A refined version of the Putrid Serum Putrid Serum}} that's mostly safe for human consumption. Mostly.

Press the Secondary Action button while healing with the Med-Kit to use the Refined Serum.

  • Moderately increases Movement speed for 16 seconds.
  • Creates a Blight trail behind the Survivor.
