The Spirit World is one of 8 known sub-realms to the Entity's Realm in which Dead by DaylightIconHelp DBDlogo takes place.

Overview[]

The Spirit World is used by The WraithIconHelpLoading wraith and The NurseIconHelpLoading nurse, other Killers do not have access to it.

The Spirit World is on a different plane of existence to the Entity's Realm. Its appearance is identical to the Entity's Realm, but those who traverse it see black fog covering their peripheral vision.

Notably, Killers within the Spirit World cannot interact with Survivors and objects outside of it. This is evidenced by the fact that The Wraith minimally uncloaks himself each time he interacts with Props when cloaked.

SurvivorsIconHelpLoading survivor have no means to enter it or interact with it.

The Wraith[]

The Wraith uses his ancient Wailing BellIconPowers bell to cloak himself, which allows him to access and walk The Spirit World at increased Movement speed. The Spirit World enhances his abilities, depending on the Add-ons he uses, and cloaks him from Survivors by granting him the UndetectableIconStatusEffects undetectable Status Effect.

The Nurse[]

Unlike The Wraith, who walks The Spirit World, The Nurse uses Spencer's Last BreathIconPowers breath to pierce and quickly move through it.
Since she does not entirely enter it, The Spirit World does not grant her the Undetectable Status Effect, but rather makes her appearance blurry and shimmery while blinking.
This interaction is painful to The Nurse, causing her to scream with each Blink.

Lightburn[]

Main article: Lightburn

Lightburn was a mechanic unique to The Spirit World and exclusively afflicted those that interact with the latter, making them vulnerable to the light of FlashlightsIconItems flashlight while using their Power. This however was removed in Patch 6.7.0.
