Perks support Mouse-over functionality
(desktop version only): hovering over the modifier words with your cursor will reveal the values behind them.

Surge is a teachable Unique Demogorgon Demogorgon}} Perk Perk}}. It can be unlocked for all other Characters from Level 30 onwards:

Your eerie presence charges the air and interferes with technology.

Putting a Survivor into the Dying State Dying State}} with a Basic Attack instantly causes all Generators Generators}} within a radius of 32 metres to explode and begin regressing.
Generators affected by Surge immediately lose
8 % of their progress.

Surge can only be triggered once every 60/50/40 seconds.

Trivia

  • The regression penalty of Surge is not applied on top of the default regression penalty of a missed Skill Check Skill Check}}, which would be 10 %.
  • Since any affected Generators start regressing automatically, Surge conflicts with using Pop Goes the Weasel Pop Goes the Weasel}} or Overcharge Overcharge}}. It does, however, activate Surveillance Surveillance}} on Generators affected by it.
