Sometimes I manage to just catch a glimpse of a poor soul as he gets carried away. Others I have actually told my name. I do not always want to know their names. It makes it harder as they hang from the hook. I help them...sometimes. Just as they help me. Fear is our common denominator. And we bond. We have nobody else. Human contact and interaction sooths this trial we share. I ask myself whether I am better off alone, or if we can come farther together. Sometimes I bare shame as I sneak away from screams. But I have equally often been on the other side, hanging two feet off the ground, whereas I see someone, watching from shrubbery. Like a witness. Maybe it is important to watch, and remind oneself that pain is not the only thing that burdens our lives at this point? But also our souls. Do we deserve to live if we were to escape?

Overview

It is highly recommended to thoroughly read up on both Killers and Survivors to fully understand both sides. For tips on playing Survivor, please refer to this section of the Wiki: Playing Survivor: Tips and Tricks

The Survivors' task is to try and escape from the Realms [[File:|32px|link=Realms]] of The Entity IconHelp entity.png in which they are trapped. In order to do so, Survivors must complete the following tasks:

  • Repair 5 Generators IconHelpLoading generators.png to power the 2 Exit Gates IconHelp exitGates.png.
  • Open at least one of the two Exit Gates by holding down the lever on its Switch Box for 20 seconds.
  • Leave the Map.

Meanwhile, the Killer IconHelpLoading killer.png will be trying to locate, catch and hook Survivors in order to sacrifice them to The Entity.

Even though Survivors are vulnerable, they have a very useful set of core abilities to hide and escape from the Killer.

  • The Perk deactivates once it has been used.
