Survivors who exit a Locker suffer from the following afflictions:

Scream and reveal their location to you for 4 seconds.
Suffer from the Exposed Status Effect for 30 seconds.

Nerf: reduced the Aura Reveal time to 3 seconds.

Buff: increased the Aura Reveal time back to 4 seconds.

Buff: increased the Exposed timer to 30 seconds.

Patch 6.6.0

Change: modified the behaviour of the triggered Survivor screams to be consistent across all Unlockables:
- This change would have modified the Survivor scream from a map-wide 2D scream to a 3D scream with a maximum audible range of 19 metres.

Patch 6.6.2

Reversal: reverted the behaviour of Survivor screams to their original functionality.
- The reversal was motivated by the community's negative response to the range limit, which caused the Perks to end up weaker than before.

Trivia

Iron Maiden will also speed up the Hatchet Reload action for The Huntress, as well as the Blade Reload action for The Trickster.
An Iron Maiden was an allegedly medieval torture device, a sarcophagus-like structure with hinged doors that would pierce its victim with dozens of sharp metal spikes when closing the doors.
Its practical use, however, is a myth originating in the 19th century.
